Lemon Pickle

To Make Lemon Pickle




 3 medium lemon
a pinch turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp – salt
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1 tsp – chilli powder


  1. Combine the lemon with 11/2 cups of water and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  2. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Drain well and cool completely.
  3. Cut the lemon in quarters and deseed them.
