Mushroom Biryani

To Make Mushroom Biryani

Ingredients
3 cups – Basumati Rice
1 cup – mushrooms (khumb)
1/2 cup – dark black mushroom, soaked and sliced
a pinch of sugar
3 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Method

  1. Heat the oil, add the mushrooms and sauté (lightly fried in butter or fat, pan-fried) till they are tender.
  2. Add the dried black mushrooms and sauté (lightly fried in butter or fat, pan-fried) for 4 to 5 more minutes.
  3. Add the rice.
  4. Serve and enjoy with raita.
